These sliding-scale days exist to lower barriers to gender-affirming care. They are set aside specifically for folks who otherwise would not be able to access our services. On these days, services start at 50% of our standard rate. This pricing is only available on Gender Euphoria Days.
Important things to note if this is your first time getting waxed:
Do NOT shave or trim your hair for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. -your hair must be as long as a grain of rice to be able to wax
-DO not drink caffeinated beverages or alcohol day of appt
-Take a couple ibuprofen an hour before service to take the edge off
Staying hydrated for the days prior to your appointment is very important.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
*NO show/late cancel
-At Beehive our policy is to charge a no show or late cancellation fee for missed appointments. Even though these services are being provided at a different rate, our policy remains the same. You will not be charged anything on this card if you make your appointment. You are welcome to pay with cash or a different card on site at the time of service
Please call us if you are going to be more than five minutes late to your scheduled appointment. If you are running more than 5 minutes late, you WILL need to be rescheduled.
If you are unable to make your appointment, please confirm / cancel / reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If you cancel after that time, you will be billed a ‘Late Cancellation Fee’ of 50% of your booked service(s) price.
If you skip your scheduled appointment you will be billed a ‘No-Show Fee’ of 99% of your booked service’s price OR one of your services will be forfeited from the applicable service package purchased.
You will also not be allowed to rebook for a “GE Days” again!
How do I know if I qualify for this?
-Beehive is not asking for verification of any kind to be eligible for these days. We know that waxing services are a luxury and not accessible to everyone for many different reasons. So if you feel like our services are usually outside of what you can regularly afford we are happy to book you on our “GE Days”
What does sliding scale mean? Can I pay whatever I want?
Sliding scale means that the prices have been adjusted from our usual fee. On these days selected services are priced at 50% of their usual fee. Customers can pay anywhere from the adjusted rate to the full fee.
Can I walk in on that day and be seen?
At Beehive, all of our services are by appointment only. In an effort to keep appointments running smoothly and ensure quality of each service, “GE Days” will be treated like any other day at Beehive and require an appointment.

What if I cannot afford the adjusted fee?
We hear you. Life is expensive, and not everyone is able to work our services into their budget. Stay tuned for more opportunities for accessibly priced services.
What if I want services that aren’t on your “GE Days” Menu?
If you would like to book for services that are not on our “GE Days” service menu, we can definitely add them to your appointment but they are at our regular fee.
Why do you need a cc on file?
Our policy is to have a cc on file in case of no/show or late cancellation. Don’t worry we will NOT charge this card for anything at this time. The only time we charge this card is if you do not make your scheduled appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
